Suzette Selden
represents both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety
of litigation matters. She has represented clients in
various practice areas, including insurance litigation,
deceptive trade practices, business disputes, securities
litigation, and construction defect cases. She has extensive
knowledge of insurance coverage issues.
Selden currently
serves on the executive board of the Capital Area Trial
Lawyers Association, and is a member of the Order of the
Barons. She has co-authored the Annual Survey of Texas
Insurance Law with Mark Kincaid in 2007, 2009 and 2010.
Additionally, she was head notes and comments editor of the
Houston Journal of International Law from 2005-2006.
Before becoming
a lawyer, Suzette worked as a television news producer for
an ABC affiliate station in Washington state and interned
for the Dateline NBC news magazine program in
New York City.
